What's New in Universal Product Codes Processing (UPC)


 Redeveloped the UPC Code Maintenance:
 - Improved performance
 - Made the interface more user friendly

- Provided options for automatically assigning UPC codes or clearing the UPC Codes for the selected Items

 - Applied the UPC Code Maintenance improvement to the Inventory Maintenance, Inquiry and other programs where UPC is available.

Modified the UPC program to find the Item if UPC code is entered without the UCC part

Provided UPC Code scanning for Bill number on the Header tab of Production Entry and for component Items on the Lines tab.

What's New in RF Warehouse Automation


Running  RF Warehouse Automation enhancement in the system with MBN and WSA installed makes the Bin Transfer Entry, Traveler Bin Transfer, Pallet Shipping Entry and Bin Inquiry menus available in Sage 100 ERP for Win CE launcher.


    Bin Transfer Entry- allows for transferring items from one Bin Location to another within the same warehouse.


Bin Inquiry - allows for displaying active bin locations and Quantity on Hand for the scanned/entered Item number in the selected Warehouse. 


          RF Pallet Shipping Entry – allows for scanning what is picked for the order onto a pallet and accurately track what is on the pallet.



In addition, the following features are avialable:

  Bin Distribution is enabled in the RF Shipping, Receipt of Goods, I/M Transaction and Physical Count Entries for Warehouses using bins.




 The Bin Location field is enabled in the Physical Count Entry to allow selecting a bin for Multibin warehouse and count the Item by bins.


With UPC enhancement installed, Item UPC Code scanning is supported in the Shipping, Receipt of Goods, Inventory Transaction, Physical Count and Pallet Shipping Entries

       Traveler Bin Processing

- New option added in the Multibin Processing Options allows for enabling Traveler Bin Processing:           



Traveler Bin Maintenance

        - The Traveler Bin Processing allows for grouping items within bins that are mobile or “traveling” bins.   
- The traveler bins are stored in and transferred between the fixed bins that are the physical locations within the warehouse.  

- Traveler bins can contain multiple different items.

- Items can be transferred in an out of a traveler bin
- A traveler bin can contain multiple traveler bins.
- Physical bins can contain multiple traveler bins.

The following Traveler bin types are available:
a. Tote
b. Tare
c. Container
     


Traveler Bin Transfer Entry

- Traveler bin transfers are tracked the same as physical bin transfers. 
- A traveler bin can be transferred between physical bins.When a traveler bin is transferred, all the items in the traveler bin are transferred together between the physical bins as part of the traveler bin.

Swapping of serials in the Sales Order lines, which allows for entry of old serial and new serial numbers and processing old serial number as returned and the new serial number as rented.
